Strategic Leadership

Service Improvement

Consistent insight into activity and cost data, as well as waiting list and conversation rate data broken down for each speciality, enables decision makers to make sense of current operational and clinical performance.

All analysis can be broken down by ICS and then further by Trust, providing the geographic context needed to select the best course of action to improve services, and to monitor these coherently once in place.

Overlaying information on the prevalence of clinical conditions at neighbourhood level then provides deeper, hyper-local insight, to be further overlaid with other critical demographic considerations such as deprivation or housing data, all supporting informed service improvement decisions

New Care Models Development

VUIT provides the analytical capability to support decisions about geographical service provision against clinical and surgical demand.

Stratifying the data provides a clear view, across a broad range of clinical conditions, of the greatest clinical need.

This empowers superior insight into the dynamic between demand and capacity within your ecosystem, ensuring that decisions on new service models are made with a much clearer view.

Additional tools can also identify whether activity could be diverted from acute care settings, resulting in further cost savings and improved outcomes.

Programme/Portfolio Development

The Outcomes Framework component of the platform provides a full suite of tools to support impact monitoring.

The framework has over 300 indicators organised into user-defined themes of wellbeing, deprivation and long-term condition management, benchmarked across all local authorities with local-level analysis where possible.

Tracking the progress of developments against desired outcomes, the framework provides a robust ‘gap analysis’ to those tasked with organisational transformation, helping identify best and worst outcomes versus peers on a national scale.

The aim is to provide senior leaders with one 'source of truth' and one 'pane of glass' from which to direct activity.

Service Integration

A critical feature of the VUIT platform is the provision of a consistent view of data across each ICS, from Primary Care to Acute Trust Providers.

This view covers waiting list performance, activity, costing and diagnostics

The data we interrogate is all publicly available, in a consistent format, providing the perfect foundation from which to deliver consistent insight to NHS Management.

We are able to ‘join the dots’ between disparate organisations within the same geography, as well as supporting the development of services across geographically diverse areas.
