Clinical/Care Leadership
Quality Improvement
Local performance data, available in a consistent and digestible form, enables oversight, ‘grip’ and management at service or speciality level.
Benchmarking can trigger deep-dives to diagnose issues and drive continuous improvement.
Information is at users' fingertips within seconds of logging on, meaning no waiting for insights from stretched informatics teams with other priorities.
Benchmarking against other organisations using consistent metrics avoids the risk of local bias.
We can also effectively support commissioning decisions.
Service Efficacy
The VUIT platform layers relevant GP and Acute performance data against populations being served.
The insight gained ensures that targeted cohorts of patients are supported in the most effective and efficient manner.
This can be delivered against targeted specialities and/or specific geographies, to support a deep understanding of service efficacy at a hyper-local level.
Patient/Citizen Experience
VUIT’s ‘Right GP For Me’ tool enables patients to see current performance against 18-week standards for all trusts in their area, allowing them to make informed decisions about the best care for their condition.
Similarly, our ‘Right Hospital For Me’ module presents elective provider data in a timely and consistent manner.
Based on comparable data geographically relevant to the specific patient’s situation, it provides waiting list and care information in a clear and digestible way, empowering patients, carers and clinicians to make informed decisions about the care they require and where it should ideally be delivered.
Service Equality
The platform provides geographical mapping of the Core 20 plus 5, giving clear & consistent insight about those relevant populations against the 5 focused clinical areas.
We are also able to provide hyper-local information about wider demographics such as prescribing and ethnicity.
This delivers insight as to where service provision could be improved, especially in ‘under-served and seldom heard’ communities, maximising access opportunities and reducing inequalities.
